Kazumi Hasegawa
Dr. Hasegawa is currently Director of Outreach and Business Development at the Center for Global Engagement (CGE) at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), which promotes the international dimensions of teaching, research and service by working collaboratively with administrators, faculty, staff, students and community leaders to create global engagement opportunities that align with UMBC’s mission, vision and strategic goals.
Since 2020, she has served as a board member of the Marketing and Outreach Division, Maryland International Education Consortium (MIEC). Also, in 2022, Dr. Hasegawa was appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce and has serve as a member of the Maryland/DC District Export Council (MD/DEC DEC) based on her expertise in international business and volunteers her time to provide local businesses with guidance and assistance in international markets.
